Web Site Evaluation:

It's essential when doing research that you are able to identify the difference between good and bad information on the Internet.

Click on the links to examine each site. Check for the following:

1. Site purpose (Why was this site created? What type of site is it?)

2. Site author (Who created the site? What is the site creator's educational background?)

3. Date of publication (When was this site last updated?)

4. Accuracy of information (Does this information seem true and accurate? How do you know? Would you use it for school research?)

5. Site bias (Is the site trying to convince you to think about things a certain way or change your belief systems?)
