All About Me

   Mrs. Deborah Flores loves teaching MUSIC at Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary.  She trained to be a Music teacher at Baylor University and Texas Tech. In addition to Music, she has also taught Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade classes in Brownfield, Sundown, San Antonio, Bastrop,Texas and Anchorage, Alaska. She was also a private piano teacher for 21 years. 

Mrs. Flores has 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren ages 0-6. She lives in Del Valle with her husband, who teaches at Austin Community College. She has a Lhasa Apsa dog, Sashe, who rode with her alone on the long rode from Anchorage, Alaska to Austin. She enjoys playing the piano, gardening, kayaking, and traveling.
