PreK Qualifying Application

PLACE

Registration will take place at each Del Valle ISD campus in the attendance area in which the child resides. 

FORMS

Registration forms can be downloaded from the Del Valle Independent School District website for your convenience. If you would like to complete the forms ahead of time for each of your children, please do so and bring the completed packet to registration. The completion of all forms may reduce your wait time during registration.   

WHAT TO BRING

NOTE: Registration cannot be completed without all listed documents.

• Photo ID of parent/guardian registering child
• Parents must supply school with current proof of residence (utility bill within last 30 days, property tax statement, or lease/rent agreement )
• Birth certificate
• Social security card
• Immunization records
• Transcript (secondary) or last Report Card (elementary) 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION

Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten are provided at all eight elementary schools.  Pre-kindergarten is only offered as half-day.

Pre-kindergarten

Students must be 4 years old on or before September 01, 2013, and meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for Pre-K:

• Unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• Homeless
• Foster care
• Military eligibility
• Income meets federal free and reduced lunch program/proof of income within past 60 days

Kindergarten

Students 5 years old on or before September 01, 2013

LUGAR  

La matriculación se realizará en cada escuela de Del Valle ISD en la zona de asistencia en que el estudiante reside.

FORMAS

Las formas de matriculación pueden ser descargadas del sitio web del Distrito Escolar Independiente Del Valle para su conveniencia. Si le gustaría completar las formas temprano para cada uno de sus niños, haga así por favor y traiga el paquete completado a la matriculación. El completar  todas las formas puede reducir su tiempo de espera durante la matriculación.   

QUE DEBE TRAERSE

AVISO: La matriculación no podrá ser completada sin todos los documentos listados.

• Tarjeta de Identidad Con Foto del Padre/Guardián que matriculara al estudiante
• Los padres deben dar a la escuela una prueba actual de su residencia (factura de utilidades dentro de los últimos 30 días, factura de impuestos de propiedad, o contrato de alquiler/renta)
• Acta de nacimiento
• Tarjeta de seguro social
• Registros de vacunas 
• Expediente Escolar (Secundaria) o La Ultima Tarjeta De Calificaciones (Primaria)

INFORMACION DE PRE-KINDER Y KINDER

Pre-kínder y kínder serán provistos en todas las ocho escuelas primarias.  Pre-kínder es solo provisto como día medio.

Pre-kínder

Los estudiantes deben tener 4 años en o antes del 1 de septiembre de 2013, y satisfacer uno de los criterios siguientes para ser elegible para Pre-Kínder

• Es incapaz de hablar y entender el idioma inglés
• Sin Hogar
• Bajo cuidado adoptivo
• Elegibilidad militar
• El ingreso satisface el programa federal de almuerzo gratis y reducido/prueba de ingreso dentro de los últimos 60 días

Kínder

Estudiantes con 5 años en o antes del 1 de septiembre de 2013
