Any Baby Can

Any Baby Can is a nonprofit in Austin, Texas that improves the lives of children by strengthening them and their families through education, therapy and family support services. Each year, Any Baby Can brings help and hope to more than 6,000 of the youngest, sickest, and poorest children in our community and their families.

Capital IDEA works with over 400 unemployed and underemployed Central Texans to prepare them for high-skills careers. Most participants are earning a degree in a healthcare, high tech, or accounting career at Austin Community College. Others are taking the first step toward college-level training through GED, English as a Second Language, or college preparatory courses.

Capital IDEA is supported by community based organizations, employers, and a variety of public and private funders.

The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is a national program designed for families who earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid, yet cannot afford to buy private insurance. The State of Texas developed TexCare to raise awareness of the children's health insurance options available, and to help Texas families obtain and utilize affordable coverage for their uninsured children (ages 0-19).

TexCare offers two separate children's health insurance programs with benefits packages that cover a full range of services including regular checkups, immunizations, prescription drugs, lab tests, X-rays, hospital visits, and more. El Programa de Seguro Médico de Niños (VIRUTA) es un programa nacional diseñado para familias quiénes ganan demasiado dinero para dar derecho del Programa estatal de asistencia médica, aún no pueden permitirse a comprar el seguro privado. Insure•A•Kid helps Texas families get low cost children's health insurance through CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) and Children's Medicaid. Once children are insured, we help families use their coverage for preventive health care and renew it regularly.

Insure• a•kid is an advocate for families and is here to help them get the health care they need for a healthy future.

The Medical Assistance Program (MAP) provides access through networks of established providers for those Travis County residents who meet eligibility criteria. Some services require a co-payment.
