The Del Valle Independent School District Adopt-A-School program is designed to involve business and community groups in a collaborative partnership with the Del Valle schools to enhance each student's educational experience. It is a non-profit organization that functions as an advisory group to the Del Valle Independent School District with the intention of supporting activities that will enrich or otherwise positively affect the education of students attending Del Valle ISD. The Adopt-A-School Board consists of parents, community members, and community liaisons from the following businesses: AMD, Austin Bergstrom

ommercial Texas, ERO International, LLP, Hilton Austin Airport, LCRA, PD Design, Sematech, and Spansion, Wells Fargo Bank. The Adopt-A-School Board sets annual goals each school year to assist the District in the following programs: Scholarships for Del Valle seniors, the Teacher of the Year program honoring campus and district winners, the Year-End Celebration honoring adopters, volunteers, and mentors, and the New Teacher Luncheon and Bus Tour for all new educators.
