Transfer Information

Del Valle ISD will accept the following student transfer applications for the 2013-2014 school year from May 1 through May 31, 2013: 

1. Intra-district transfer application for hardship or extenuating circumstances;

2. Intra-district transfer application for in-district employees to transfer his/her child to a campus closest to their assigned duty station;

3.  Inter-district transfer applications for out-of-district employees wanting to transfer his/her child into DVISD from another district; and

4. Nonresident Student in Grandparents After-School Care transfer application.

A fast-growing district with approximately 11,000 students, DVISD will continue to experience significant increases in student enrollment at all campuses during the 2013-2014 academic school year.  Enrollment increases lead to space limitations which in turn impact the number of transfers that can be granted. For this reason, only hardship or extenuating circumstance will be considered.

Student transfers are good for one school year only.
