Smith Elementary values ALL forms of involvement.  We realize the importance of collaboration with parents and the community in creating effective learning environments. We appreciate the commitment that supporters, like you, undertake to support Stallion students through all of the challenges and joys that are experienced in a public school setting.  We respect family and community as critical contributors to the educational development of our children.  And most of all, we value the inclusion of all guardian participants with school personnel in carrying out the awesome responsibility of helping all students reach their full educational potential.

If you are a parent or community member who would like to become more actively involved at school, we encourage you to participate as a member of the PTA at Smith Elementary.

Del Valle ISD Community PTA Mission:

Join our group whose mission is to work towards the education, success, and welfare of children at Del Valle ISD by uniting the community and collaborating with the schools through parent, family, and community invovlement.

Membership is only $5 and we host fun events like the District Talent Show.  Tell your friends about this awesome organization and come on over to help out and have fun.  Joining PTA is also a great way to stay informed and active in DVISD to better serve our children.
