In Del Valle ISD, we realize that parent involvement in school takes many forms:
Del Valle ISD values ALL forms of parent involvement. We realize the importance of collaboration with parents (and the community) in creating effective learning environments. We appreciate the commitment that parents undertake to support their children through all of the challenges and joys that are experienced in a public school setting. We respect parents as critical contributors to the educational development of their children. And most of all, we value the inclusion of all parents, without cost, as participants with school personnel in carrying out the awesome responsibility of helping all students reach their full educational potential.

Parent Involvement Committee
If you are a parent who would like to become more actively involved in your child's school, we encourage you to participate as a member of the Parent Involvement Committee at your child's school. Each campus in Del Valle ISD operates a Parent Involvement Committee. There are no dues or fees required to join. All that is required is a desire to become a member!
