CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCE (COR)     

If the student lives with a parent or legal guardian at a residence within the attendance boundaries of the District that is owned or leased/rented by an adult other than the parent or legal guardian, the parent or legal guardian and the owner or lease/rental holder must apply for a Certificate of Residence (COR) at the District Attendance Office which will require:

• The parent or legal guardian enrolling the student and the owner or lease holder must present a valid state issued drivers license, state issued ID, or other acceptable picture ID
• Property tax statement for the residence address under the owner’s name
• Lease holder’s effective lease/rental contract listing all occupants
• Electric, water or gas statement showing service to the residence address under the owner/lease holder’s name, effective within the last 30 days

Returning students admitted during the 2011-2012 school year and all new students enrolling in DVISD under a Certificate of Residence (COR) must re-qualify or qualify, respectively, their COR for the 2012-2013 school year. Del Valle ISD Board Policy FD (local) : Appropriate registration forms shall be completed annually and signed by the student's parent/legal guardian.  

Not accepted as proof of residence:

Driver's license, TV or cable bill, telephone bill, debt statement, auto insurance statement, etc.

  *COR will NOT BE APPROVED until ALL required information is presented*

*COR MUST be renewed every school year*

*Students will NOT be allowed to attend class until the COR has been completed*

CERTIFICADO DE RESIDENCIA (COR)

Si el estudiante vive con un padre/madre o guardián legal en una residencia dentro del límite de asistencia del distrito que es propiedad o alquilada por un adulto que no es el padre/madre o guardián legal, el padre/madre o guardián legal y el dueño o arrendatario deben aplicar para un Certificado de Residencia (COR) en la oficina de Asistencia del Distrito que requerirá:

• El padre/madre o guardián legal que matriculará al estudiante y el dueño o arrendatario deberán presentar una licencia de conductor proporcionada por el estado, tarjeta de identidad proporcionada por el estado, u otra tarjeta de identidad con foto aceptable
• Factura de impuestos  del domicilio de residencia bajo el nombre del dueño
• Contrato de alquiler válido del arrendatario que enliste a todos los ocupantes
• Factura de electricidad, agua o gas mostrando servicio al domicilio de residencia bajo el nombre del dueño /arrendatario efectiva dentro de los últimos 30 días

 Los estudiantes matriculados en el año escolar 2011-2012 que están de regreso y todos los estudiantes nuevos que se están matriculando en DVISD bajo un Certificado de Residencia (COR) tienen que re-establecer o establecer, respectivamente, la validez del COR para el año escolar 2012-2013. Norma FD de la Junta del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Del Valle (local) : Los padres o el tutor legal del estudiante llenarán y firmarán cada año las formas de matriculación adecuadas.    

 No aceptado  como prueba de residencia:

Licencia de conductor, factura de TV o cable, factura de teléfono, factura de deuda, factura de seguro de

auto, etc.  

*COR NO SERÁ APROBADO hasta que TODA la información requerida sea presentada*

*COR DEBE ser renovado cada año escolar*

* NO se le permitirá al estudiante asistir a clases hasta que se haya completado el COR*
