Student Transfer Announcement Del Valle ISD is now accepting the following student transfer applications for the 2013-2014 school year from May 1 through May 31, 2013: Intra-district transfer application for hardship or extenuating circumstances; Intra-district transfer application for in-district employees to transfer his/her child to a campus closest to their assigned duty station; Inter-district transfer applications for out-of-district employees wanting to transfer his/her child into DVISD from another district; and Nonresident Student in Grandparents After-School Care transfer application. Mark Your Calendar: Athletic Physicals for 2013-14 All incoming 7-12 grade students that plan to participate in athletics must get a new athletic physical prior to the 2013-14 school year. The Del Valle Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Children’s Wellness Center, will be offering Athletic Physicals for the 2013-14 school year. Click HERE for more information.
Immunization Alert for 2013-2014 According to Texas law, all students in public schools must maintain current immunization status in order to attend school. No elementary student will be placed on a class list and no secondary student will be allowed to obtain a class schedule at the beginning of school year 2013-2014 if their immunizations are not up-to-date.
