On behalf of nearly seven hundred students and a committed caring staff, I am proud to welcome you to Baty Elementary. Our school is named after Ms. Willie Baty, a retired Del Valle educator, who still resides in nearby Wimberley, Texas. Although we reside in the city of Austin, we belong to the Del Valle District. We offer early childhood, Pre-kindergarten, and elementary grades kinder through sixth in Bilingual as well as English. Baty has earned local and state-wide recognition: "Exemplary" and "Recognized" for TAKS success, the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce "Quality Award" twice, and the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award.
