As administrators, we are very excited about keeping in touch with our parents and partners through the Smith webpage. Smith has always been a leader in providing the best possible education to our students in Travis County.

Smith Elementary has a bilingual program to serve our growing Hispanic population. We are excited about being able to serve our students by meeting both their educational and linguistic needs. Smith Elementary provides students with the opportunity to use the Rosetta Stone Language Program as a means of enhancing bilingual students' curricular experiences through the use of English and Spanish language lessons, ultimately offering them more opportunities for success in and out of the classroom. We encourage students, parents, and community members to take advantage of the Rosetta Stone Language Program. If sufficient interest is indicated, Smith Elementary will be more than happy to accommodate the community need for the program.  

To encourage all students to be at school on time every day, practice good citizenship, and get all work completed to the best of their abilities, we are continuing our program of positive rewards. All faculty and staff at Smith want your children to feel safe and comfortable while on campus.  We believe that everyone who enters through the big blue doors at Smith should feel at home and enjoy their experience while on campus. We encourage you to actively take part in your child's education by supporting your student at home and at school. We offer numerous options for volunteer involvement and can't wait to see you on campus!
