We Have Fun Learning in the Ojeda Library!

Ms. Patisaul's 6th graders enjoyed a fine dining experience at the library's "Ristorante Biblioteca". Students were able to select books from genres of their choice from a special library restaurant menu in order to check out their books for the day. It was a delightful experience!

Our 6th grade students loved writing found poems from their favorite lines in their library books. We look forward to seeing their found poems be published in their personal poetry books!

Blind Date with a Book!

Ms. Young's students enjoyed going on blind dates with books! They covered their favorite books and wrote brief reviews about them on the book covers. Students in the next class could choose to check out the book (as long as they didn't peek at the cover until they'd checked the book out). They enjoyed being surprised by their books and recommending books for their fellow classmates. It was a hit!
