 What is Dyslexia?

 Dyslexia is neurological in nature that inhibits a person’s ability to recognize and process graphic symbols, particularly those pertaining to language. Primary symptoms include extremely poor reading skills owing to no apparent cause, a tendency to read and write words and letters in reversed sequences, similar reversals of words and letters in the person’s speech, and illegible handwriting.

It is truly a privilege to be able to guide the Dyslexia students at Dailey for another year.  Because Dyslexics process information differently; my class is dedicated to present information in various formats to help with comprehension and retention of important information.  If at any time you have any questions or concerns about the Dyslexia program or the accommodations students receive please feel free to contact me..
