Assignments To earn your English IV credit, you must complete both a senior project and a number of English IV TEKS activities. The link above takes you to the online folder that contains these TEKS activities. Read the directions for each assignment carefully and submit your responses to me in person or via email at rachel.bilardi@del-valle.k12.tx.us. The link above takes you to instructions and handouts for your Senior Career Research Project. Read the directions for each step carefully. To earn credit for Comm. Apps., you need to complete three packets that correspond to three power point presentations, and you need to present three speeches. One speech requires interaction with a partner, one with a group, and one is solo. The link above will take you to the online folder that contains these assignments. |
Extra Credit Opportunity! As November's general election approaches, I encourage you to get informed and involved! I am offering extra credit in each of my classes for those who watch the presidential and vice presidential debates and carefully consider the issues presented. Write a one-page analysis of what you see for each debate. You can watch them online, you can watch live on any major network, or you can listen on the radio at KUT 90.5 Here's the Schedule: Domestic Policy -- October 3, 2012 Watch Online Vice Presidential Debate -- October 11, 2012 Watch Online Town Hall Debate -- October 16, 2012, 8:00 P.M. on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX or Watch Online Foreign Policy -- October 22, 2012, 8:00 P.M. on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox or Watch Online Credits: For English IV, you will receive credit for TWO of the TEKS checklist assignments (this excludes senior project steps) for EACH one-page write up you complete.
